Blaufränkisch – Purpur Königskerze (purple mullein)

Description

The Blaufränkisch reminds by purplish-purple color reflections of the purple mullein, which prefers loamy soils like the Blaufränkisch. He smells of blackberries and blueberry. On the palate you can also taste blackberry and blueberry as well as plum. A strong and full of red wine with supporting acid and 13% vol., which prepares a nice finish.

That is why our Blaufränkisch harmonizes with its berry and fruit aromas and the supporting acidity with steaks as well as roe-buck and lamb chops.
